Cut your losses, fast!***Speaking of cutting, and Oakland, and baseball, Ken Macha got the ax yesterday. Championship Rings All he did was manage the team for four years, putting up two division titles and two second place finishes, all in all, a damn good showing. In this win-at-all-costs society, four years of stellar results apparently isn't enough.

If there was one thing a quarterback could use after a shaky first start, it's a weak opponent the next week. Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers got lucky as they visit the deplorable Cincinnati Bengals who have lost their first two preseason games 61-10. Superbowl Rings All Newton has to do is play smart and he should have big day while the defense picks up where the Lions and Jets left off harassing Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton..

RespectfulnessAfter gaining years of education and experience, it's possible that a sports psychologist might assume she knows more about an athlete's mind than he does. You must be respectful of the fact that each person you work with knows himself better than you do and must be compassionate enough to be respectful of each person's limits. You might work with huge, aggressive football players, emotional young figure skaters and arrogant tennis stars, but you must show each the same tolerance and respect.

Now the real question is, do you possess the fortitude to stay in line what you know is right, or do you do what is easy and expected ?.

Marshall was selected with the 37th overall selection in the 1983 NFL Draft. At the time Los Angeles Raiders managing general partner Al Davis described him as the steal of the draft.[9] In his rookie season Marshall initially struggled with weight problems which drew the ire of the coaching staff.[9] After trimming down, Marshall made an impact and played strongly against the run[10] but was unable to mount much of a pass rush and finished with a meager .5 sacks on the season.[11] He improved rapidly and recorded 6.5 sacks in 1984.[11] He recorded several key tackles to help the Giants preserve a crucial 16-13 win over the Los Angeles Rams during the season.[12] His emergence as a pass rusher continued in 1985 and he finished with 15.5 sacks,[11] and was named NFL defensive lineman of the year.[13][14] He repeated that honor in 1986[13] as he finished with 12 sacks.[11] He teamed with Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor to form a potent pass rush on the right side of the Giants defense. The Giants finished 14-2 and advanced to the Super Bowl where they faced the Denver Broncos.offering seamless management at a fraction of the cost
